If you like crafting—or perhaps you’re in a profession that often requires you to create 3D models—a 3D pen can be a fun and useful tool for “drawing” three-dimensional objects. Just like the art college student who created a butterfly landing on her hand.

Solution

• Step 1: Insert the filament and set the extrude speed. Test the pen to make sure the melted filament comes out smoothly.
• Step 2: Draw 2D sketches on a flat and smooth platform, then peel it off and bend at the proper angle.
