A quadcopter is a multi-rotor helicopter that is lifted and propelled by four rotors and no tail rotor. It’s the most common form of hobby RC drone. Besides easier repair, making a DIY drone with 3D printing will give you much more knowledge about the inner workings and mechanics of your flying machine.
Solution
Step 1: The quadcopter drone together with a base is made just for display. Add support structure and arrange the placement in slicer software.
Step 2: 3D print the base and the drone separately using SLA Generic Resin in 0.05mm. The propellers are not moving parts so we can print them with the housing together.
Step 3: Remove the supports and rinse the model with IPA. Then post-cure it under UV. Use sandpaper to remove bumps and marks.
Step 4: Spray them using black glossy paint and UV oil to make them shiny. Then glue the drone onto the base.
