About Project

The client who designed these moss poles is an engineer as well as a moss lover and fish owner. He designed the moss poles to teach his monstera deliciosa to grow upwards. After we made the first version, the client revised his model, increase the diameter and porosity, and make the wall thickness thinner. Then he also designed the waterer in the shape of David's head. You can pour water from the top of David's head.

Solution

• Step 1: Examine the 3D models carefully, especially whether the details exceed minimum layer heights.
• Step 2: Add supporting structures for the models in case the pole may break or deform.
• Step 3: Arrange the placement and 3D print the whole model SLA Generic Resinin one piece.
• Step 4: Cut off the supports and wash the prints with IPA. Spray the print with a prime after air drying. Polish to remove the marks.
