Solution

• Step 1: Design. The 3D model of the snake statue was designed using CAD software.
• Step 2: File Preparation. The 3D model was then converted into a suitable file format for FDM printing.
• Step 3: Printing. The snake statues were printed using FDM 3D printers with PLA filaments.
• Step 4: Support Removal. Support structures were carefully removed from the printed statues.
• Step 5: Sanding. The statues were lightly sanded to smooth out any rough edges and imperfections. Note: Some layer lines remained visible on the eyeballs due to the urgent nature of the order and client acceptance of this minor imperfection.
• Step 6: Cleaning. The sanded statues were cleaned to remove any dust or debris.
• Step 7: Painting. A primer was applied to the statues to prepare them for painting.
• Step 8: Metallic Finish. The statues were painted with gold acrylic paint to achieve the desired metallic finish.
• Step 9: Quality Check. Each statue was inspected to ensure it met the quality standards.
