Most of the Thank You Cards on market are 2D. 3D printing technology can give it some depth. The elements on this personalized Thank You Card show the stories between both teacher and students, and express the appreciation for donating their time and talent to teach us.
Solution
Step 1: Design the patterns in Tinkercad and set a proper thickness.
Step 2: Print on the top of the raft with an FDM 3D printer using white PLA filament. A Raft is a horizontal latticework of filament that is located underneath your part. Rafts are primarily used with ABS to help with warping and bed adhesion, but they can also be used to help stabilize models with small footprints, or to create a strong foundation on which to build the upper layers of your part.
Step 3: Remove the excess filament with scissors, grater, and sandpaper.
