Here is a small-batch production of the most popular superheroes you must know! To make them look more like flesh, the models are built from the movie characters and 3D printed with 0.05mm layer thickness.
Solution
Step 1: Split the models and plan to strengthen the sculpture by connecting its hands and arms with the main body using steel rods.
Step 2: 3D print the master patterns using SLA Tough Resin with a layer thickness of 0.05mm. The post-process for the master pattern is quite important as it decides the precision of casted products.
Step 3: The urethane casting process uses a 3D printed master pattern and silicone mold to deliver high-quality, short-run parts in a fraction of the time and a fraction of the cost of injection molding.
Step 4: Glue the hairpieces onto their heads. The hair of some characters needs to be processed by curling irons.
Step 5: 3D print the hair accessories with SLA printers and brush with metallic paints. Assemble the accessories with the models.
