About Project

These cow bottles are designed especially for the ox year and inspired by ancient cultural relics. One has a pair of cow horns, one has cow ears, and the other one's body looks like a cow. SLA 3D printing technology can easily make things with complex designs, fine details, and smooth surfaces. Thus it's often used for prototyping.

Solution

  • Step 1: Our engineer checked the file, make sure the model does not need to be scaled up or down, and then recommend a suitable material.
  • Step 2: Hollow the model to a proper wall thickness so the cost of materials can be cut down.
  • Step 3: After the client made sure about size, material, and desired surface, we feed the STL file into slicer software.
  • Step 4: 3D print the models together with the necessary supports using SLA Generic Resin.
  • Step 5: Take out the models from the platform, cut off the supports and rinse with IPA.
  • Step 6: Post-cure the bottles, color with metallic and matte paint, then coat with UV oil.
