About Project

Have you ever wondered how it feels to have a bear in your living room? Well, now you can find out with our LCD 3D Printed Lifelike Grey Resin Bear Models. These models are so realistic that they may scare you at first glance. But don鈥檛 worry, they are harmless and friendly.

We have created four different bear models for our clients, each one with its own personality and pose. You can choose from a cute bear cub standing still, or three adult bears that are walking or stretching their bodies. These models are made with high-quality聽LCD Ultra Detailed Resin, which is an acrylate-based plastic that captures much better detail than polystyrene. Thanks to our skilled 3D modelers, the bears鈥 fur looks very realistic and natural.

Our bear models are produced using LCD 3D printing technology, which uses a light screen similar to that in your cell phone to harden liquid resin layer by layer. This process allows us to create models with extremely high resolution and smooth surface. Our bear models are perfect for displaying in your home, office, or anywhere you want to add some wildlife charm.

Solution

  • Step 1: The 3D models of the bears were designed on a computer using 3D modeling software. The models were then uploaded to the LCD 3D printer.
  • Step 2: The printer generated an image of each layer of the model as a mask on the LCD matrix, which emitted UV light. The light cured the resin in the areas where the matrix transmitted UV rays, creating a solid layer of the model.
  • Step 3: The printer repeated the second step for each layer of the model until the whole model was completed. The printer used LCD Ultra Detailed Resin, which is an acrylate-based plastic that captures much better detail than polystyrene.聽The resin had a gray color and a high resolution.
  • Step 4: The printer lifted the model from the resin tank and removed the excess resin. The model was then washed with isopropyl alcohol to remove any uncured resin.
  • Step 5: The model was post-cured under UV light to enhance its mechanical properties and stability. The model was then inspected for any defects or errors.
  • Step 6: The supporting structures are removed from the model, and without polishing it already had a smooth surface with good details. The model was then ready for display or delivery.
