The channel letters are used to be cut from plastic boards and then glued together. In a consequence, the letters are not strong enough to be hanging out of the store. Nowadays, more and more companies are adopting 3D printing to make their channel and signboard. The letters can be made faster than so does the traditional method, and they are printed in one piece, which means their structure is more stable. Besides, 3D printing enables you to realize various kinds of design without the old restrictions under handmade.

Solution

• Step 1: Design the typeface of the channel letters.
• Step 2: 3D modeling.
• Step 3: 3D printing with an SLA 3D printer.
• Step 4: Sandblasting and electroplating.
• Step 5: Assemble with LED and circuit board.
