About Project

A client wanted to cut and engrave his design into clear acrylic. He designed the pattern in an Android app called Sketch, which can export .png, .jpeg, and .svg files. Our engineer needed to convert the .png file into .dwg for laser cutting.
The design fee is $15, and the 8*6 in acrylic boards cost $30. As required by the client, the gray parts are engraved on the front surface.

Solution

• Step 1: Convert the .png file into .dwg, and import the file into the laser cutting machine.
• Step 2: Set the laser cutter, cut and engrave the acrylic boards.
