Solution

• Step 1: The character model was reviewed before printing, and delicate areas such as the wide hat brim, fruit decorations, small hands, base details, and transparent shoulder bag were checked for manufacturability.
• Step 2: Colored and transparent material settings were assigned to different parts of the model, including the pastel outfit, fruit pieces, skin tone, teal hair, base, and clear bag area.
• Step 3: Support structures were generated around the hat, arms, bag, and small fruit details to keep the rounded shapes and thin protruding areas stable during PolyJet printing.
• Step 4: The figurine was produced with PolyJet 3D printing, where photopolymer materials were jetted and UV-cured layer by layer to form the full-color character and transparent accessory in one integrated print.
• Step 5: After printing, support material was carefully removed from the hat, fruit decorations, bag, and body details, and the transparent shoulder bag was sanded and polished to improve surface clarity.
