About Project
Some fantasy characters are easy to love at first sight, and this little dragon is definitely one of them. This purple dragon character figurine has a sweet, curious personality built into its design, from the big starry eyes and rounded snout to the tiny horns, folded paws, curled tail, and book-shaped base.
The color design makes the figure especially charming. Soft purple tones shift into deeper magenta on the horns, wings, belly, and tail, while the pale blue accents add a gentle magical feeling. WJP full-color 3D printing helped bring out the smooth color gradients, matte surface, scale details, wing membranes, and expressive face directly from the digital model.
Figures like this are perfect for original fantasy characters, game companions, collectible toys, animation samples, storybook mascots, and custom desk displays. For creators, studios, and brands developing character models with personality, FacFox provides professional WJP full-color 3D printing services for custom figurines and collectible prototypes. Solution
- Step 1: The dragon model was checked before printing, and areas such as the horns, wings, starry eyes, paws, tail, scale texture, and book-shaped base were reviewed to make sure the geometry could be produced clearly.
- Step 2: The full-color texture data was prepared for WJP 3D printing, including the purple body gradients, magenta wing and horn colors, pale blue accents, black-and-white eye details, and dark base color.
- Step 3: Full-color photopolymer resin materials were jetted and UV-cured layer by layer, allowing the character shape, matte surface colors, and small fantasy details to be formed in one integrated print.
- Step 4: After printing, support material was carefully removed from delicate areas such as the wing edges, horns, facial details, paws, tail, and underside of the figure.
- Step 5: The printed figurine was cleaned and inspected to make sure the color transitions, scale texture, eye details, and matte surface were clear and consistent.
- Step 6: The finished dragon was checked from the front and back to confirm that the cute pose, fantasy color palette, wing shape, and book base were properly reproduced for display.
