This pouring bear garage kit is customed for a carnival, where people pour acrylic paint onto the bear to create puddles, pools and marble-like patterns. Pouring results in a smooth, glossy paint film that is perfectly even and blemish-free.

Solution

• Step 1: The client prefers to make it in one piece and hollow the model, so we leave a fluid gate at the bottom.
• Step 2: Arrange the model in the software and add necessary supports. Then 3D print it with SLA Durable Resin. The layer thickness we set is 0.05mm.
• Step 3: When printing is completed, rinse the model with IPA and post-cure it with UV. Cut off all the supports, then spray with putties and polish with sandpaper.
• Step 4: Cover the whole model with clear acrylic oil. Then the client could pour acrylic paints over it.
