3D Systems and Stewart-Haas Racing, the championship-winning NASCAR team that has relied on 3D Systems’ ProX 800 stereolithography and Figure 4 Standalone 3D printers to improve speed and performance in its racecars, have recently entered a technical partnership. With the help of 3D Systems and this three-year partnership, Stewart-Haas Racing is able to rapidly design, prototype, and create durable parts.
SLM Solutions Group AG, a global provider of integrated metal additive manufacturing solutions, and Divergent Technologies have signed a long-term Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the entire SLM NXG XII 600 fleet. Divergent Technologies’ end-to-end digital production system for design, manufacturing and assembly, DAPSTM, incorporates additive manufacturing to unleash innovation in the automotive industry, making vehicles lighter, more energy efficient and less capital intensive to produce. Since 2017, Divergent and SLM have worked together as joint development partners.
Stratasys has been named an official partner of Toyota Racing Development (TRD). Through the partnership, TRD is expanding its use of AM, from prototyping to end-use parts. The partnership is set to make its debut with 3D printed production parts on the forthcoming Toyota GR86 for the GR Cup – a new single-make racing series sanctioned by SRO America.
