Sahajanand Technologies Private Limited (STPL), an industrial technology development company, headquartered in Surat, Gujarat, India, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing (NCAM), in Hyderabad, Telangana. The move is intended to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing between the two organizations. The MoU was signed by Rahul Gaywala, CEO of STPL3D, and Jaspreet Sidhu, CEO of NCAM.

UltiMaker, a global leader in desktop 3D printing, presented the final reformation of its brands following the merger of Ultimaker and MakerBot last year. The new brand identity reflects the company’s strategic vision to drive adoption of desktop 3D printing solutions, and introduces a new product architecture.

Nexa3D, a specialist in ultrafast polymer 3D printing hardware, has completed the acquisition of Addifab, the originator of Freeform Injection Molding, a proprietary and patented digital tooling process that couples the design freedom of 3D printing with the mechanical performance of injection molding using thousands engineering materials.

With another somewhat unconventional public move, Nano Dimension Ltd. (Nasdaq: NNDM) has submitted a revised offer to acquire Stratasys Ltd. (Nasdaq: SSYS) for $19.55 per share in cash (the previous offer was $18 per share and it had been turned down by Stratasys board. At the height of the 2013-2014 period, Stratasys stocks traded above $120 per share. At the same time, Nano Dimension has filed a lawsuit against its own shareholders, Murchinson Ltd. (“Murchinson”), Anson Advisors, Inc. (“Anson”), Boothbay Fund Management (“Boothbay”) and their affiliates, “for improperly acquiring and misusing their shareholding interests in Nano Dimension.” Nano Dimension also just reported full FY 2022 revenues of $46 million (Stratasys generated roughly 14 times as much).

The Stratasys Ltd. (Nasdaq: SSYS) Board of Directors has unanimously rejected the proposal it received from Nano Dimension Ltd. (Nasdaq: NNDM) to acquire Stratasys for $18.00 per share in cash. The offer was described as unsolicited and undervaluing Stratasys.

Nexa3D has acquired XYZprinting‘s laser sintering technology, channel and worldwide customer base, rounding out its own high-end industrial polymer laser powder bed solutions (represented by the quad laser QLS 820 system) with XYZ’s more affordable MfgPro230xS and MfgPro236xS systems and expanding its material library.

The Board of Directors of BICO Group AB has exercised the authorization granted by the Annual General Meeting to issue up to 6,408,626 class B shares (“New Shares”) in full, equivalent to ten percent of outstanding shares in the company prior to the transaction, through a directed share issue to Sartorius AG.

The collaboration will touch many aspects of GENERA`s business and is going to benefit end-users in a variety of ways.

Prototek Holdings LLC, a leading North American digital manufacturing provider of industrial 3D printing and other manufacturing processes, acquired Prototype Solutions Group (PSG). PSG is a leading provider of quick-turn prototyping in CNC, additive and cast manufacturing located in northern Wisconsin, about one hour east of Minneapolis, MN.

Nano Dimension Ltd. (Nasdaq: NNDM) continues to shock the AM market with strategic acquisitions. After Nano Fabrica (now Fabrica Group) and more recently Adamtec/Formatec, the company has completed a strategic acquisition of 12.12% of additive manufacturing market leader Stratasys. Having visited Nano Dimension when it was just a two-story office with R&D capabilities in a building near Rehovot, Israel, only a few years ago, this achievement is all the more impressive.

Prototek Holdings LLC (“Prototek“), a leading North American provider of industrial 3D printing and other digital manufacturing services for low-volume production, completed the acquisition of ProtoCAM, a premier industrial 3D printing company located in Allentown, PA. ProtoCAM will merge into Midwest Prototyping, Prototek’s additive manufacturing arm acquired in July 2021.
