Dyndrite, providers of the GPU-accelerated computation engine used to create next-generation digital manufacturing hardware and software, has entered a new partnership with MIMO Technik and ASTRO Mechanical Testing Laboratory.
Stratasys Ltd. (NASDAQ: SSYS) and intraoral 3D scanner specialist 3Shape are introducing a new automated 3D printing color workflow using 3Shape’s Dental System software and the Stratasys J5 DentaJet 3D printer. Using an intraoral scanner and 3Shape’s software, dental labs can capture both color and geometric information of the patient’s mouth. Users of Stratasys’ 3D printer can then import the data and print extremely accurate personalized full-color dental models.
Sintratec AG, an affordable SLS 3D printer manufacturer from Switzerland, has become the latest company (and the next SLS hardware system manufacturer) to have joined the ColdMetalFusion Alliance. The project looks to revolutionize access to industrial metal parts by leveraging cost-efficient and robust polymer SLS printing technology enabling high productivity at low investment costs.
Nippon Gases, part of the global Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation is the latest company to join the ColdMetalFusion Alliance, which now includes multiple polymer PBF 3D printer manufacturers, a process developer and material expert (Headmade Materials), multiple post-processing experts (PRES-X and AM Solutions) and a sintering expert (Carbolite Gero). The gas expert company, providing gases to inert AM build chambers, aims to offer customers reliable industrial and specialty gas solutions and to work on reliable sintering standards together with the other member companies.
GE Additive has added industrial technology leader, Kennametal Inc., as is the latest member of its Beta Partner Program. As part of the GE Additive Program, Kennametal will further advance its Binder Jet printing capabilities in cemented tungsten carbide as it continues to scale its end-to-end metal additive manufacturing solutions, from metal powders through to the production of 3D printed parts and tooling.
3D printing solutions manufacturer BCN3D Technologies and one of the global leaders in adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings, Henkel Adhesive Technologies, are set to collaborate on the development of formulations for the recently released Viscous Lithography Manufacturing (VLM) 3D printing technology. This official collaboration is the latest step in what has been an ongoing alliance between the two teams since 2020.
