Sauber Technologies and Additive Industries Extend Partnership

Sauber Technologies has extended its technology partnership with metal additive manufacturing leader, Additive Industries for a further three years. Sauber Technologies has been using Additive Industries’ MetalFAB platform for metal additive manufacturing (AM) since 2017, with a current count of four systems in-house as the company embarks on new, ambitious projects for third-party customers. Sauber Technologies is also part of the same group as Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN.

New PRO Series presented by Roboze Decision Makers

Roboze has presented the new PRO series, in addition to professional solutions that use its proprietary software, Prometheus, and new materials to increase companies’ digital transition opportunities. The machines offer quick and cost-effective access to the production of parts with well-defined technical and industrial requirements, as they can support the validation of finished AM parts with super polymers and technical materials (PEEK, TPU, ABS, etc), and, with the same solution, accelerate the research and development of new applications, and the digitization of the warehouse of tools and spare parts. The company has also opened the new Workcenter to third-party developers.

Czinger Vehicles is expanding its global reach, with H.R. Owen as its first international retail partner and exclusive Czinger dealer in the U.K. The alignment opens up the European market to the Los Angeles-based automotive brand as sales begin for its first production car, the pathbreaking 21C, a marvel of modern engineering which integrated dozens of 3D printed parts in its body structure.

DuraForm PAx Natural developed by 3D Systems and EMS-GRILTECH Materials

3D Systems and EMS-GRILTECH have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance additive manufacturing materials development. Combining 3D Systems’ expertise and leadership, as an additive manufacturing solutions partner, with EMS-GRILTECH’s (a Business Unit of EMS Group) expertise in the specialized manufacturing of polyamides has enabled the companies to introduce a novel nylon copolymer – DuraForm PAx Natural. This material possesses properties similar to injection molded plastics and features high impact resistance with high elongation at break in any direction. DuraForm PAx Natural is designed to be used with any commercially-available selective laser sintering printer, regardless of the manufacturer – facilitating ease of integration into existing production workflows.
