Diamond Age releases its first 3D printed homes Construction 3D Printing

Diamond Age, a full-stack robotics innovator with the mission of using automation to make homeownership more affordable, has recently been revealed as the creator of the technology that was used to print Century Complete’s Mountain View Estates in Casa Grande, Arizona. The 3D printed homes are the first to be created using Diamond Age’s Factory-in-the-Field technology.

The homes come in three single-story floor plans – offering up to four bedrooms and 1,901 square feet – with concrete composite walls that make the homes more energy efficient, quieter, and more durable than traditional builds. Property prices start from upwards of $200,000.

Diamond Age’s Factory-in-the-Field is a robotics-as-a-service system that brings automation to the construction site – in an attempt to backfill the labor shortage in the home construction industry. Benefits of the system include reducing manual labor by as much as 55%, and significantly reducing build times, and waste production.
