ArchForm Opens 3D Printed Aligner Factory for Doctors

ArchForm, the leader of Aligner treatment planning software, announced that it will produce 3D printed aligners for orthodontists at half the price of traditional aligner companies.

ArchForm’s 3D software has helped doctors provide 3D printed aligners for thousands of patients in the office, and aligners are now available on-demand. Orthodontists can combine the speed of 3D printing office aligners with the convenience of outsourcing, making aligner therapy more accessible and affordable than ever.

Historically, clear aligners are more expensive than metal braces, and the average price of braces is $5,500. The high cost associated with metal brackets comes from the chair time that doctors often have to perform when adjusting brackets and wires.

ArchForm’s Aligner platform changes the pricing structure provided by traditional Aligner companies, making Aligners cheaper for both doctors and patients.

“I think the future of aligners will soon change dramatically,” said 28-year-old Andrew Martz, the founder of ArchForm. “This model of destruction cost will democratize the aligner from the doctor level. By enabling doctors to better control their 3D printed aligners, it makes aligner therapy more accessible, affordable and easy to use to everyone.

ArchForm’s omni-directional orthodontic platform is now equipped with a newly manufactured orthodontic machine that allows orthodontists to fully control: use 3D printed orthodontics in the office, order 3D printed orthodontics from ArchForm, or combine in-office and outsourced orthodontics Together to save cost and time. Combined with ArchForm’s treatment plan, orthodontic treatment is now affordable and easy for orthodontists without cost or equipment barriers.

It works as follows: the orthodontist using ArchForm performs a digital scan during the patient’s initial visit, 3D prints the day’s aligner in his office laboratory, and then outsources the rest of the patient’s treatment to ArchForm’s manufactured alignment Device. The orthodontist does not need to wait 4-6 weeks to receive the orthodontic, but can provide the patient with the best of both worlds: the same day orthodontic treatment and the doctor’s treatment.

ArchForm’s aligners are manufactured by 3D printers and sophisticated robotic engineering to ensure fast processing and reliable results. Compared with other leading brands, multilayer plastic materials are more transparent, smoother, and shorten the processing time.
