Batman doesn't cover his mouth because his fighting techniques need an adequate air supply, and people are impressed by how sexy his mouth is.
For doll collectors, it's great fun to dress up their dolls with unique makeup, clothes, and props. A lady designed and 3D printed a pretty cool eyewear for her K-pop doll.
Solution
- Step 1: The client measures the dimension of the K-pop cotton doll, and builds a model of the eyewear with Nomad, then exports the STL file for printing. Our engineer helps her examine the model to make the details thick enough.
- Step 2: We arrange the parts in software and add necessary supporting structure. Then 3D print them with SLA Dark Tough Resin. The layer thickness we set is 0.05mm and we control the tolerance within 卤0.1 mm.
- Step 3: When printing is completed, rinse the models with IPA and post-cure them with UV. Cut off all the supports, then polish with sandpaper.
