Solution

  • Step 1: Design Creation. The designs for the chibi figures were created using 3D modeling software. Each character’s unique features, such as hairstyles, outfits, and poses, were meticulously detailed in the digital models.
  • Step 2: Preparation of the SLA Printer. The SLA 3D printer was prepared by filling the resin tank with liquid photopolymer resin. The build platform was positioned at the correct height above the resin surface.
  • Step 3: Layer-by-Layer Printing. The printing process began with the UV laser selectively curing the resin layer by layer. The build platform was lowered incrementally, allowing each new layer to be solidified on top of the previous one. This process continued until the entire figure was printed.
  • Step 4: Post-Processing. Once printing was completed, the figures were carefully removed from the build platform. Excess resin was cleaned off, and the figures were placed in a UV curing chamber to ensure complete hardening of the resin.
  • Step 5: Detail Enhancement. Additional details, such as the intricate patterns on the hanfu dresses and the delicate accessories, were enhanced using fine tools. This step ensured that every feature was accurately represented.
  • Step 6: Painting and Finishing. The figures were sprayed with a special paint to give them a porcelain-like finish. This paint not only enhanced their appearance but also provided a protective coating. The colors and details of the outfits, such as the yellow and orange hanfu, green hanfu, blue and white hanfu, and blue and black dress, were carefully applied to match the original designs.
  • Step 7: Quality Inspection. Each figure underwent a thorough quality inspection to ensure that all details were accurately captured and that the finish was smooth and flawless. Any imperfections were corrected before the final approval.
  • Step 8: Packaging. The completed chibi figures were then packaged securely to prevent any damage during transportation. Each figure was placed in a protective casing, ready to be delivered to customers.
