About Project

Get ready to roll for initiative! We are incredibly proud to be an official sponsor of this year’s Polish Tabletop Game Festival, helping players “create a team of heroes printed in 3D”.

A great campaign is all about the details, and we’ve been busy bringing a whole gallery of characters to life. Our latest prints feature everything from stoic horned warriors and a menacing skeleton to a sleek, spiked dragon. But the real star of the collection is the round fellow on the far right—that’s Henry the Fox, FacFox’s official mascot! Whether he’s wearing his signature gas mask for a post-apocalyptic crawl or just hanging out with the party, Henry is proof that even a mascot can be adventure-ready.

Bring Your Vision to Life with FacFox

If you want your custom characters to look as sharp as Henry, FacFox is here to help. We offer high-resolution 3D printing specifically designed for the intricate needs of miniatures. Our specialization in LCD micro-modeling ensures unbelievable detail, capturing features with a layer thickness starting at 10µm and an accuracy of ±0.05mm.

We provide a wide range of professional technologies, including MJF, SLA, DLP, and PolyJet. Depending on your needs, you can choose from standard, tough, flexible, or transparent resins, or even go for full-color CMYK prints to skip the priming stage. From industrial-grade Nylon PA12 to Metal and ABS, we have the materials to ensure your miniatures survive even the most chaotic gaming sessions.

Solution

  • Step 1: Design Selection. Digital models for the diverse range of heroes, including the horned warriors and the dragon, were selected to showcase high-resolution capabilities.
  • Step 2: Technology Implementation. The specialized LCD micro-modeling technology was implemented to ensure that the most intricate details, such as the textures on Henry the Fox’s gas mask, were preserved.
  • Step 3: Precision Calibration. High-precision accuracy was calibrated to within ±0.05mm to allow for perfectly fitting components and sharp features.
  • Step 4: Layer Deposition. The material was deposited in ultra-thin layers, with a thickness starting from 10µm, to create a smooth surface finish.
  • Step 5: Material Selection. Standard white resin was utilized for these specific models to provide a clean, neutral base for potential painting by festival attendees.
  • Step 6: Support Removal. Necessary support structures were carefully removed after the printing cycle was completed to reveal the final geometries of the miniatures.
  • Step 7: Quality Inspection. Each piece was inspected to ensure that the complex geometries, like the dragon’s spikes and the wizard’s staff, met the required quality standards.
