About Project
This 1/20 gas station miniature is made for Beijing Sanki Petroleum Technology as a company gift. All the details on the real gas station are reproduced on this miniature, and it has a calendar function.
Solution
- Step 1: The client builds the whole model with Solidworks, and exports the STL file for printing. We need to examine the model and make sure all the details are large enough for printing.
- Step 2: We split the model into different parts, arrange them in software and add necessary supports. Then 3D print it with SLA Generic Resin and SLA Clear Resin. The layer thickness we set is 0.05 mm and we control the tolerance within 卤0.1 mm.
- Step 3: When printing is completed, rinse the models with IPA and post-cure them with UV. Cut off all the supports, then polish with sandpaper. Spray with putty to make the surface look better.
- Step 4: Color the parts according to the blueprints and then attach the PVC stickers onto the parts. Glue the parts together into one piece.
