About Project

The full length of the newly designed food production line is 67.5m, and the client ordered a 1:15 model to present the appearance of the production line. When the investors and government department visited their factory, the client could explain the full production process and why they needed funds to build the new line. With so many details, it could prove the determination and mature plan better than the 2D blueprints.

Solution

  • Step 1: Examine the 3D model sent from the client, and raise suggestions like thicken the pillars, amend the broken meshes, add the depth of the vent, etc.
  • Step 2: Hollow the models to decrease the materials so as to cut down the cost. Split them into different units for simpler post-process. Add supports and arrange the placement on slicing software.
  • Step 3: 3D print the models with SLA Generic Resin using our industrial 3D printer. The layer thickness we set is 0.05mm.
  • Step 4: Rinse the model with IPA and post-cure with UV. Cut off all the supports, then polish with sandpaper.
  • Step 5: Spray all the parts with silver paint. Finally, pack them all together and the client can easily connect them with glue.
