About Project

An artist has designed some small and lovely pieces of jewelry and planned to cast them into silver and gold. We guess these tiny fungi, flowers, and leaves are made to be earrings. DLP Ultra Detail Resin is the most suitable material for making patterns for jewelry casting. However, the metal parts may lose some fine details during lost-wax casting.

Solution

• Step 1: Our engineer firstly checks the model and found there is one that could not be opened. He informs the client to send the fixed one.
• Step 2: After making sure all the details are printable, the engineer asks about the printing scale and gave a quote.
• Step 3: Add supports and arrange the models in the slicer software, then 3D print them with DLP Ultra Detail Resin.
• Step 4: As the models are too small, there will be marks left on the surface, which cannot be polished by hand, or else the prints may break.
• Step 5: As the resin parts are too breakable, we pack them with cotton and steel box.
