Tableware are the dishes or dishware used for setting a table, serving food, and dining. It includes cutlery, glassware, serving dishes, and other items for practical as well as decorative purposes. The quality, nature, variety, and number of objects varies according to culture, religion, number of diners, cuisine, and occasion.
A student has designed a set of beautiful coordinating tableware for Chinese weddings. The theme is auspicious clouds, which determines the color scheme is simply red and white. These tableware are as glossy as porcelain. To achieve the effect, they are 3D printed with SLA Generic Resin and then go through fine polishing, and then painted by hand.

Solution

• Step 1: SLA 3D printing with Tough Resin.
• Step 2: Removing the supporting structure and post-curing process.
• Step 3: Sanding and polishing, then spraying with UV-oil, and painting the pattern by hand.
