There is something instantly fun about a little monster that looks tough and cute at the same time. This green rock monster figurine combines bulky armored shapes, horn-like yellow details, deep green side fins, dark stone-like panels, and rounded chibi proportions. From the front, it feels like a tiny guardian creature ready to stomp forward; from the back, the layered armor and cloak-like elements make the design even more characterful.

The most interesting part of this model is its multi-color block design. The greens, yellows, grays, dark blues, and beige details are not randomly painted on; they are built into the visual language of the character. If this type of model were made with single-color 3D printing, it would often need to be split into many parts, printed in different colors, assembled, and possibly painted afterward. For a small creature with so many color zones, that workflow can quickly become slow and messy.

Solution

• Step 1: The 3D model was checked before production, including the bulky body shape, horn-like details, side fins, layered back elements, arm structures, and small color zones.
• Step 2: The full-color texture data was prepared for WJP printing, so the green armor, yellow horns, gray rock-like panels, dark blue sections, and beige details could be reproduced directly from the digital file.
• Step 3: The figurine was printed with full-color photopolymer resin materials, which were jetted and UV-cured layer by layer to form the integrated multi-color model.
• Step 4: Support material was removed after printing, and recessed areas around the arms, side fins, horns, feet, and back details were carefully cleaned.
• Step 5: The matte surface was preserved without clear acrylic oil coating, allowing the printed color blocks and soft creature-like texture to remain close to the original digital design.
• Step 6: The finished figurine was inspected from the front and back to confirm the color registration, boundary clarity, overall proportions, and collectible display effect.
