Dyndrite added Essentium, a company that pioneered of High-Speed Extrusion (HSE) 3D printers and materials, and Xaar, a manufacturer of piezo-based inkjet technologies used in a number of industries, to the Dyndrite Developer Council.
WAZP, a global end-to-end supply chain for Additive Manufacturing has created a 3D printing solutions-focused platform called Spark. The platform will assist businesses trying to adopt and reap the benefits of additive manufacturing when producing products and components.
Autodesk added its suite of Netfabb tools to the Autodesk Fusion 360 software, which incorporates additive CAD, cost-projection and milling tools. Netfabb, a web-based subscription service, builds upon the Fusion 360 software by adding a parts library, additive system and material parameters and simulation software to the Fusion 360 package. Existing Netfabb subscribers will receive access to the Fusion 360 package included with their subscriptions.
AMFG, a supplier of MES and Workflow automation software for additive manufacturing, and L’Oréal have partnered to optimize rapid prototyping workflows in its 3D printing lab. As 3D printing volumes increased, L’Oréal decided to invest in a solution that could support this growth and chose AMFG’s software as its workflow management platform.
SnapEDA, creators of the first search engine for electronics design, and DipTrace, an easy-to-use PCB design software, are collaborating to support DipTrace on the SnapEDA website. This collaboration integrates SnapEDA’s computer-aided design (CAD) database directly into DipTrace’s latest PCB design software.
3D Control Systems, an advanced manufacturing software solutions provider, is collaborating with HP to integrate the HP 3D Application Programming Interface (API) with 3D Control Systems’ additive manufacturing workflow software. The 3D API integration promises to increase workflow efficiency by allowing more direct data sharing between software and printer.
Siemens Digital Industries Software was named a leader in product lifecycle management (PLM) by Forrester Research for its Teamcenter portfolio. Siemens was among the select companies that Forrester invited to participate in The Forrester Wave: Product Lifecycle Management for Discrete Manufacturers, Q1 2021 evaluation.
Xometry, a U.S. marketplace for on-demand manufacturing, launched an app for Autodesk Fusion 360 in collaboration with Autodesk. This integration enables users to get an instant price and lead time from Xometry without leaving Autodesk’s Fusion platform. The app is free and can be downloaded directly from the Autodesk Fusion 360 App Store.
DyeMansion will launch an expansion of its Powershot portfolio with an online event hosted from its Munich headquarters. DyeMansion will bring the physical live experience of their new Powershot systems to you as close as possible. In addition to the reveal and a live demo, there will be several deep dive tech talks and statements from partners like Siemens. Interspectral has entered a new agreement with additive manufacturing company AMEXCI AB and will provide AMEXCI with early access to its software AM Explorer. AM Explorer makes it possible to fuse, explore and analyze design files, simulation data, machine monitoring data and post-build metrology data from the metal additive manufacturing process in 3D.
