Acting as a sponsor, EnvisionTEC provided support and 3D printing expertise to the German students in the development of an electric race car.
Norsk Titanium AS, a Norway-based company specializing in additively manufactured structural titanium parts for the aerospace industry, has announced the appointment of a new President and CEO: Michael J. Canario. Currently the President of Aerospace, Americas & Corporate Business Development for advanced composites company Hexcel, Canario will officially start his new role as President and CEO of Norsk Titanium in June 2018.

Attendees came to take stock of the latest developments in 3D printing and its exponential potential. “The expected future always arrives late and in unexpected ways,” said Singularity University futurist Paul Saffo, who opened the summit.

Australian metal AM specialist Titomic Limited has announced a new partnership with Callaway Golf Company, a U.S.-based golf equipment company and the world’s largest manufacturer of golf clubs. Together, the companies have signed a 12-month agreement through which Titomic will provide its additive manufacturing expertise for the production of “novel” golf products for Callaway.
