Titomic Limited, an Australia-based specialist in metal additive manufacturing, is partnering with German producer of wear-resistant precision metal parts C.A. PICARD Group. Together, the companies will leverage Titomic’s Kinetic Fusion (TKF) technology to produce metal components for the extruder technology market.
Italian 3D printing company Roboze has carved itself out an important place in the large-scale 3D printing market, largely thanks to its high-performance plastic printing capabilities. Boston-based sportswear giant New Balance has showcased a keen interest in 3D printing technologies since as far back as 2016, when it unveiled the Zante Generate shoe with a 3D printed midsole—the first 3D printed sneaker to become commercially available (though in extremely limited quantities). When, in 2017, New Balance announced a partnership with Formlabs to develop high performance materials, hardware and process for athletic footwear, it was clear its intentions were to keep pursuing AM.
Anisoprint, a company based in Russia and Luxembourg specializing in composite fiber 3D printing, has revealed one of its newest customers: Schunk Carbon Technology. The company, a division of the Germany-based Schunk Group, is a global leader in the development, manufacture and application of carbon and ceramic solutions.
At the opening of the Rapid.Tech – Fabcon Conference on industrial 3D Printing in Erfurt, Additive Industries revealed that it has strengthened its Technology Partnership with the F1 team of Alfa Romeo Racing. On behalf of Alfa Romeo Racing, Sauber Engineering, like the F1 team part of the Sauber Group and using the technology, have ordered their 4th multi-module, 4-laser MetalFAB1 Productivity system.

Last year, the company achieved an important milestone on its additive journey, successfully 3D printing its millionth part in ten years. Today, however, 3D printing is an increasingly important technology that is used across industries to speed up processes and cut costs; it is also enabling consumers to benefit from personalized products.
Italian additive manufacturing service bureau Beam-IT is deepening its existing partnership with metal AM specialist SLM Solutions through a new agreement that will see it acquire two new SLM 3D printers. In addition to expanding its production portfolio, Beam-IT will also work closely with SLM Solutions to develop new material parameters to add value for both companies.
In the wake of announcing a whopping $260 million investment, 3D printing company Carbon has revealed a partnership with chemicals company Arkema and its Sartomer business line specializing in advanced liquid resins. Arkema was a key investor in Carbon’s latest funding round, contributing $20 million.
