3D Printz Limited, the Shropshire-based 3D printing company, has signed another supply deal with a top American manufacturer. The company, based at Hortonwood in Telford, is now supplying the entire range from Florida-based Slice Engineering. It includes more than a dozen products, from adapters and cables to cooling fans and hotend components.
With its propensity for custom, one-off designs, it is no wonder that 3D technologies like scanning and 3D printing have been eagerly adopted by automotive restoration professionals. The technologies have literally given them the tools to bring vintage and rare cars back to their former glory, not just in look, but often also in terms of performance. AM Craft, a Latvia-based aerospace additive manufacturing service provider, has purchased four large-scale F900 3D printers from Stratasys, marking one of the 3D printing company’s largest single orders to date.
