After dealing with a difficult year that included a patent lawsuit from Memjet and massive layoffs of over 300,000 employees, HP Inc. will attempt to start the year off right at the MecklerMedia produced Inside Singapore, which will take place between 26th and 27th of January. HP will be showing off their 3D printing technology at the Sunec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre by displaying 3D printed product samples and a collection of videos detailing their particular 3D printing process.
In addition to the display booth, HP will also host a seminar at Inside 3D Print Singapore that will focus on the disruptive potential of 3D printing technology, keying in on how HP is planning to impact the additive manufacturing ecosystem. The discussion will also touch upon the history of HP, including their past innovations in the inkjet printing industry, as well as their plans to make the same historical mark on 3D printing too. Other sponsoring and exhibiting companies include SLM Solutions, UCT Additive Manufacturing Center Singapore, and others.
The conference itself will be expanding it’s boundaries as well by co-locating itself with the RoboUniverse (robotics industry) and the Virtual Reality Summit, which will showcase each tech industry and examine how they interact with one another. Anyone attending the Inside conference will have access to both partnering events.
“By offering attendees the opportunity to seamlessly explore 3D printing, robotics, and virtual reality at one event, we aim to break down barriers and encourage invention and innovation that highlights these industries’ synergies,” said Alan Meckler, the CEO and chairman of MecklerMedia. “Inside , alongside RoboUniverse and the Virtual Reality Summit, is the premier disruptive technology event in Singapore.”
Becoming a bigger and bigger event by the year, this upcoming Inside conference and expo is sure to be filled with some interesting exhibits, and perhaps even some answers to some important questions. What will be in store for 3D printing technology in the new year? Will HP Inc. play a noticeable role in it? What about robotics and virtual reality?
