Hawk Ridge Systems acquires Parsons Technology to provide 3D printing solutions in the Midwest

Hawk Ridge Systems, a Silicon Valley-based reseller of 3D design and manufacturing solutions, has announced a merger with Parsons Technology, Inc, a manufacturing and shop floor software solutions provider based in Nebraska. With the acquisition of Parsons Technology, the combined company is able to provide Hawk Ridge Systems’ portfolio of 3D printing technologies to a total of 22,500 customers from 22 offices.

By acquiring Parsons Technology, Hawk Ridge Systems is aiming to build upon its reseller network and expand its 3D design and manufacturing solutions coverage in the Midwest, in order to create a large, comprehensive and experienced team of manufacturing professionals in North America.

Expanding customer base in North America

Parsons Technology specializes in assisting the manufacturing and machining industries in the states of Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and Iowa with software applications like CAD/CAM programming. The company offers installation, setup, training and support alongside the software products that it sells.

After having been acquired by Hawk Ridge Systems, Parsons Technology will now be able to provide its customers with 3D design products offered within Hawk Ridge Systems’ portfolio, including Dassault SystèmesSOLIDWORKS and CATIA. Customers will also be able to benefit from tools, services and training with the new software products as well. Bill Parsons, President of Parsons Technology, comments: “The way we work with our clients is very similar to the Hawk Ridge Systems approach. Hawk Ridge Systems portfolio of 3D printing technology

Hawk Ridge Systems provides a variety of 3D design and manufacturing solutions within its reseller network for North America. As well as offering various software products from Dassault Systèmes, including SOLIDWORKS, the reseller also offers HP Jet Fusion 3D printers and Markforged 3D printers like the Metal X. Hawk Ridge Systems recently partnered with PostProcess Technologies to distribute the company’s solution portfolio of automated support removal and surface finishing systems in North America as well. Dale Ford, President and CEO of Hawk Ridge Systems, states that:
