Solution

  • Step 1: The 3D model of the bobbin winder was designed using CAD software, with careful attention paid to component fitting and ergonomic layout.
  • Step 2: The model was sliced in preparation for FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printing, with supports added where necessary to ensure structural integrity.
  • Step 3: PLA filament in bright yellow was loaded into the FDM 3D printer. The printing process was initiated layer by layer based on the sliced model.
  • Step 4: After printing, the individual parts were removed from the build plate and cleaned. Supports were detached carefully to avoid surface damage.
  • Step 5: Each part was post-processed using light sanding and assembly fitting. Any threading or bearing interfaces were refined for smoother motion.
  • Step 6: The rotating disc, vertical rod, thread guide, and base were assembled manually. An electric motor was installed into the housing to complete the winding mechanism.
  • Step 7: Final testing was performed to ensure that the bobbin winder could operate smoothly, and adjustments were made as needed before use.
