About Project

We have printed different kinds of dragon sculptures. But this one, with vivid colors and polka dots, the dragon head looks cute and funny, rather than awful and scary. The color scheme seems inspired by strawberries. For such kinds of figurines and sculptures, we always suggest printing with SLA technology.

Solution

• Step 1: Arrange the placement of the 3D model and add supports in slicing software.
• Step 2: As the model is just a prototype and used for presentation, we 3D print it with SLA Generic Resin.
• Step 3: Support removal, sanding, and post-curing.
• Step 4: Our painter gives play to the patterns with a permit from our client. The horns and outlines are brushed with metallic golden paints.
