About Project

Here is a fine-painted Amitābha resin statue we built for a Singaporean client. FacFox created the 3D model with reference to a painting, Three Saints of the Western Pureland.

Solution

  • Step 1: The client asks us to build the 3D model of Amitābha with reference to the painting he sent. We send the draft and edit the model based on his suggestions.
  • Step 2: We input the 3D model into the slicing software and add supporting structures. DLP Ultra Detail Resin is chosen for this application as it can produce highly smooth and fine-detailed products.
  • Step 3: Take out the print and wash it with IPA to remove excess materials. Post-cure it with UV and break the supports. Sand and polish the print to remove marks and bumps.
  • Step 4: Our experienced painter colors the garage kit with reference to the picture and sprays it with clear acrylic oil.
