About Project
FacFox is proud to offer PolyJet 3D printing technology, a marvel of precision and color ideal for showcasing intricate details. Take the pink dress girl, for example, a stunning 101.6mm tall and 24.3g masterpiece that stands out among our four printing technologies.
Unveiling Exceptional Detail:
PolyJet prints undergo a meticulous polishing and oil spraying process, resulting in a glossy finish that accentuates even the most minute details. Fine layer lines create a subtle sheen when light dances across the surface. This technology excels at capturing the complexities of hair textures, facial features, and the slender definition of fingers and toes.
Witness the Difference:
- Sharper Hair Definition: The Pink Dress Girl's hair boasts enhanced definition.
- Precise Features: Her ears, eye sockets, and lip structure are more pronounced.
- Crystal Clear Eyes: Distinct pupils and sclera add a touch of realism.
Considerations for PolyJet Printing:
While PolyJet prints boast exceptional detail, they tend to have a slightly darker color tone with lower saturation, leaning towards a warmer yellow hue. Even the grey shades of the dress may carry a yellowish tint.

Solution
- Step 1: File Processing. The prepared file was then imported into the PolyJet 3D printing software, where the print order was arranged.
- Step 2: Material Selection. A range of photopolymer resins, selected for their color and properties, were loaded into the printer.
- Step 3: Printing Initiation. Tiny droplets of the liquid photopolymer were jetted onto the build platform by the printer’s inkjet heads.
- Step 4: Layer Curing. Each layer of the photopolymer was instantly cured and solidified by ultraviolet (UV) light as it was deposited.
- Step 5: Detail Enhancement. The figure’s intricate details, such as the texture of the hair and the clarity of the eyes, were carefully crafted during the printing process.
- Step 6: Color Application. The colors were applied to the figure, with special attention to achieving the correct hues and saturation levels, despite the tendency of PolyJet prints to have darker tones.
- Step 7: Support Removal. After the printing was completed, the support materials were dissolved or manually removed to reveal the finished figure.
- Step 8: Post-Processing. The figure underwent a polishing and oil spraying process, which gave it a glossy finish and highlighted the fine layer lines.
- Step 9: Quality Check. The final figure was inspected for accuracy, detail, and color fidelity to ensure it met the desired specifications.
