No one really knows what aliens look like, but we all have similar ideas about them. It鈥檚 often a creature with a big head, long arms and legs, and big, buggy eyes. We see these common images of aliens depicted in movies, books, and on TV shows 鈥 which are made by us.
An artist has created the bust sculpture of the alien in her imagination. Half of its head is the anatomy sculpture of the alien, from which you can see its muscle and blood vessel. It's printed with PolyJet Multi-Color Resin. It's perfect for creating colorful and multi-material prototypes that look, feel, and operate like finished products, without the need for painting or assembly.
Solution
Step 1: Add soluble PolyJet supports with materials that can let you create complex 3D printed parts and models with no restrictions on geometry.
Step 2: A carriage jets photopolymers onto the workspace, which are then cured by a UV light. After a thin layer is created, the process repeats itself by jetting additional layers until the part is fully formed.
Step 3: Remove the supporting structure by rinsing the model with water and isopropanol (IPA).
