A sanitary ware manufacturer ordered this scene model of a shower room to display at their showroom. The scene model is consist of some flat boards and small gadgets, and they involve using SLA and laser-cut technologies.
Solution
Step 1: The client builds the whole model with SketchUp, and exports the STL file for printing. Our engineer would help him examine the model.
Step 2: We split the model for printing and laser cut. Then arrange the model in software and add necessary supports. 3D print the shower, the handrails, cabinet and the walls with SLA Generic Resin. The layer thickness we set is 0.05mm and we control the tolerance within 卤0.1 mm.
Step 3: When printing is completed, rinse the models with IPA and post-cure them with UV. Cut off all the supports, then polish with sandpaper.
Step 4: Laser cut the ABS boards according to the 2D blueprints. Paint all the parts into appointed colors. Then assemble the resin prints and the boards together and fix them with glue.
