Solution

• Step 1: Design Creation. The 3D model of Wurmple was digitally designed and enhanced with detailed features, including the vibrant red and yellow gradient and white spikes.
• Step 2: File Preparation. The finalized design file was converted into a format suitable for Mimaki’s full-color 3D printing system, ensuring compatibility and optimal color rendering.
• Step 3: Material Setup. UV-curable resin and color ink cartridges were loaded into the Mimaki 3DUJ-553 printer to support the creation of vivid and lifelike colors.
• Step 4: Printing Process. The object was printed layer by layer using UV inkjet technology, with each layer precisely deposited and cured by UV light to achieve structural integrity and vibrant coloration.
• Step 5: Support Material Application. Water-soluble support material was added during the printing process to stabilize complex structures and prevent deformation.
