Solution

• Step 1: Digital Model Created.聽A detailed 3D model of the Porsche 911 housing was designed using CAD software.
• Step 2: Model Prepared for Printing.聽The 3D model was then sliced and prepared for printing, with appropriate supports added to ensure proper printing and minimize material usage.
• Step 3: Resin Selected.聽A suitable resin for SLA 3D printing was chosen based on the desired properties, such as strength, detail, and surface finish.
• Step 4: Print Job Set Up.聽The prepared 3D model was uploaded to the SLA 3D printer, and the printing parameters were configured.
• Step 5: Housing Printed.聽The Porsche 911 housing was then printed layer by layer using the SLA 3D printing process. A UV laser was used to cure the liquid resin, solidifying each layer according to the digital model.
• Step 6: Supports Removed.聽Once the printing was complete, the support structures were carefully removed from the printed housing.
• Step 7: Post-Curing Performed.聽The printed housing was then post-cured under UV light to enhance its strength and durability.
• Step 8: Surface Preparation Done. The surface of the housing was then prepared for painting, which included sanding or priming.
• Step 9: Painting Applied.聽The light blue base coat was applied to the housing, followed by the white racing stripes. Multiple coats may have been applied to achieve a smooth and even finish.
• Step 10: Details Added.聽The “PORSCHE” lettering and any other fine details were carefully added to the painted housing.
