3DCeram introduces C3600 Ultimate for ceramics AM mass production 3D Printer Hardware

French-Japanese company 3DCeram Sinto, based in Limoges, is introducing at Formnext its latest 3D printer for advanced ceramics parts production. The new C3600 Ultimate features an impressive build volume of 600x600x300 mm and is capable of processing zirconia, alumina and a range of other materials. The system was developed for mass production of some of the largest advanced ceramic parts, including aerospace components such as satellite mirrors.

We had the chance to test and review their technology first-hand, after visiting the company in Krakow for a hands-on training session.

nScrypt releases nRugged 3D printer/bioprinter built for harsh environments Bioprinting

This summer, bioprinting company nScrypt revealed an interesting partnership with the U.S. Military aimed at deploying a ruggedized version of its BioAssembly Tool (BAT) bioprinter to print samples in a forward-deployed desert environment. In July, the company also sent its bioprinter into space to be used aboard the ISS. Following the early successes of both initiatives, nScrypt has introduced the nRugged system—the first 3Dprinting/bioprinting platform built for harsh environments.

RIZE One 3D printer granted world’s first UL 2904 GREENGUARD certification Sustainability

RIZE, Inc. has landed a significant first in the additive manufacturing industry: its RIZE One industrial 3D printer is the first in the world to receive UL 2904 GREENGUARD certification. The certification, which also extends to the company’s Rizium One filament and Release and Marking inks, marks a significant step ahead for RIZE and 3D printing in general, especially when it comes to safety and sustainability.
