Turbo Print by Markforged unlocks 2x faster print speeds for X7 3D Printer Hardware

As Formnext opens the doors of its 2019 edition, we are excited to be reporting on all product launches, partnerships and new developments in the additive manufacturing industry. This morning, one of the first announcements of the day comes from Markforged, which is introducing a new Turbo Print feature for its X7 carbon fiber 3D printer. The new feature enables users to double the X7’s print speed without compromising on surface quality.

Essentium unveils new HSE 3D printer models and four high-temp materials 3D Printer Hardware

Texas-based Essentium, Inc. is bringing to market a new printer series based on its High Speed Extrusion (HSE) technology as well as a range of new high-temperature (HT) 3D printing materials. The new HSE 3D printer series—HSE 180•S—comes with two printer options, one with a low-temperature nozzle (LT) and one with a high-temperature nozzle (HT) that can reach temperatures of up to 550°C, enabling the use of high-temperature materials and paving the way for more industrial applications.

Invited by Outpie Partners, a Netherlands-based company that promotes and facilitates business relationships between China and Europe, we recently had the opportunity to tour many of China’s tech hubs, focusing mainly on AI, from Shenzhen to Hangzhou, and then further up the Chinese East Coast to Shanghai, Wuxi, Jinan, and Bejing. While it’s true that China’s manufacturing is currently focusing almost exclusively on the very large – and AM is not part of the big picture – 3D printing is growing as fast as everything else and we had the opportunity to see it first hand when we visited Latec, a metal 3D printer manufacturer based in Jinan.

PostProcess Technologies grows in Europe with two new distributors 3D Printer Hardware

PostProcess Technologies a Buffalo, NY, based provider of automated post-printing solutions for industrial 3D printing, is expanding its European Channel Partner network with the addition of two distributors. CYLAOS, a French-based engineering company specialized in 3D printing industrial deployment, will cover the French market. In the Nordics region, KMC will serve PostProcess’ customer base as a specialist in surface treatment solutions.
