Cognitive Design Systems (CDS), a French additive manufacturing software start-up, has partnered with Stratasys (SYSS) – becoming a Platinum Partner of the GrabCAD Software Partner Program. As part of this collaboration, Stratasys users will gain access to CDS’s cutting-edge software for additive manufacturing feasibility and cost analysis – known as Cognitive Additive.

This acquisition expands Carbon’s current software capabilities to include topology optimization. Carbon’s technology platform now broadens to enable product design and development teams to create better products, in less time, using a wide variety of materials and production systems.
