According to The Slovak Spectator, Bratislava has welcomed the city’s first-ever 3D printed bus stop – located on Harmincova Street in the Dúbravka borough. Completed in early April, the bus stop is the result of a collaboration between the architectural studio Architekti Šebo Lichý and ITB Development – the investor behind the nearby Čerešne residential project – as well as Collarch and the Czech company ICE Industrial Services, which handled the 3D printing of the concrete components.

BM Partners, a 3D construction printing company in Kazakhstan, has completed Central Asia’s first 3D printed house. The building, located in Almaty, the largest city of Kazakhstan, is categorized within a high-risk zone for severe seismic activity according to the Richter scale.

Holcim, a 3D concrete printing company, has recently completed the ‘Phoenix’ bridge – building on the success of Striatus, an award-winning 3D concrete printed bridge presented at the 2021 Venice Biennale of Architecture. The company’s collaboration with renowned partners such as Block Research Group at ETH Zurich, Zaha Hadid Architects Computation and Design Group, and incremental3D has been pivotal in exploring scalable sustainable infrastructure solutions through Phoenix.
