A team working on a sustainable, structurally-reinforced 3D printable concrete at the National University of Singapore has demonstrated viability for load-bearing components, in the country’s first on-site structural deployment.
According to the University of Virginia, researchers have developed a more sustainable, 3D printable cementitious composite. This new material, which combines graphene with limestone and calcined clay cement (LC2), offers enhanced strength and durability while significantly reducing carbon emissions – making it a powerful solution for addressing the environmental challenges in 3DCP.
