Their goal is to produce parts for advanced applications using aerospace-grade polymers, like PEEK and similar high-temperature engineering materials [the company was recently in the news, as its technology is being used for the first known 3D printed parts to ever touch down on the Moon’s surface]`.
EOS has made known that Prototal Industries, Scandinavia’s largest and most specialized additive manufacturing company, has installed a state-of-the-art EOS P 500 system for plastic laser sintering at Prototal GTP in Ystad. The P 500 system in Ystad will complement the group’s existing machine park which already has two EOS P 500 systems installed at 1zu1 in Austria. The automated manufacturing platform from EOS supports Prototal’s strategy to meet the requests and demands for industrial 3D printing of plastic parts on an industrial scale.
In the fall of 2021 Photocentric, the inventors of LCD-based 3D printing, launched LC Opus, its quickest LCD printer yet. Breaking the company’s pre-order record in the UK, the printer is now available to buy in the US.

Digital Metal has received notice of completion of product testing and authorization to apply the UL Mark to its metal binder jetting system DM P2500. The company is also presenting two new supported meta alloys: Inconel 625 and the very interesting MAR 247.
Nanoscribe, a German company specializing in micrometer 3D printing, has introduced the successor model Photonic Professional GT2, a microfabrication 3D printer capable of larger print volumes.
After releasing the new SSI (Smart Slicing Interface) software, industrial 3D printer manufacturer 3ntr is completing its full professional 3D printing solutions by introducing two hardware elements: the new Diamond patented plates for easy print removal and the Bliss tungsten carbide nozzles for highly abrasive filament materials.
