Siemens presents AM Network and strategic partnerships at Formnext AM Software

Siemens has announced the official launch and availability of the Siemens Additive Manufacturing Network, which will provide an advanced cloud-based solution to facilitate collaboration and process orchestration along the workflow—from engineers, to procurement and suppliers. The launch follows a successful pilot period with partners at Siemens Gas & Power, Siemens Mobility, HP, Materialise and Decathlon.

Turbo Print by Markforged unlocks 2x faster print speeds for X7 3D Printer Hardware

As Formnext opens the doors of its 2019 edition, we are excited to be reporting on all product launches, partnerships and new developments in the additive manufacturing industry. This morning, one of the first announcements of the day comes from Markforged, which is introducing a new Turbo Print feature for its X7 carbon fiber 3D printer. The new feature enables users to double the X7’s print speed without compromising on surface quality.

Essentium unveils new HSE 3D printer models and four high-temp materials 3D Printer Hardware

Texas-based Essentium, Inc. is bringing to market a new printer series based on its High Speed Extrusion (HSE) technology as well as a range of new high-temperature (HT) 3D printing materials. The new HSE 3D printer series—HSE 180•S—comes with two printer options, one with a low-temperature nozzle (LT) and one with a high-temperature nozzle (HT) that can reach temperatures of up to 550°C, enabling the use of high-temperature materials and paving the way for more industrial applications.

Carbon’s high-volume L1 3D printer now available to order AM Industry

This morning, Formnext 2019 is kicking off in Frankfurt—with a lot to show. AM companies from around the world will come together in the German city this week to showcase new additive manufacturing solutions and products and to create new connections and partnerships. Digital manufacturing company Carbon, which is presenting its own solutions at the trade show, has made some announcements, including the availability of its newest 3D printer, the L1 and the addition of Jabil to its Carbon Production Network.
