The United States’ Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced it will be hosting a virtual town hall meeting on May 15, 2020 at 1pm (ET) to discuss the production and use of 3D printed nasal swabs for COVID-19 diagnostics. The virtual meeting will welcome researchers, clinical laboratories and commercial manufacturers to join in on the conversation.

3D Systems today announced the appointment of a new President and CEO, Dr. Jeffrey A. Graves, a veteran of the manufacturing industry with over 17 years of experience in a CEO position. Dr. Graves will officially join 3D Systems in the leadership position on May 26, 2020, replacing Vyomesh Joshi, who announced his retirement in February and has served as CEO of 3D Systems since April 2016, leading the company through a critical period.
