Apis Cor, a company known for its unique construction 3D printing technology, has introduced Impreza, the first and only 3D printed home (project) to participate and win an award in a Space Coast Parade of Homes. Impreza received the HBCA Parade of Homes Diamond Award and was selected as a virtual entry among the top 20 projects.
GE Additive has been working to offer an industrial Binder Jet production solution to delivers quality parts at cost, at scale. The company is reporting that product development is on track and that it will launch its solution in the second half of 2021. As Desktop Metal and ExOne have joined forces, that ball is now in GE Additive’s (and HP 3D Printing’s) court to show what they can do. In spite of COVID-19 travel restrictions, the upcoming Formnext may be the ideal venue for a showdown.
Dutch technology provider CyBe Construction and Curaçao concrete expert Betonindustrie Brievengat (BIB) are joining forces for a strategic partnership. At the end of September, three operators of BIB will be trained by the team of CyBe to operate the purchased 3D printer. This is through a 10-day on-site training during which the first two buildings will be printed in the island of Curaçao, the first-ever 3D construction printing initiative in the Caribbean archipelago. These two buildings will serve as office space and café in Willemstad, the capital city of Curaçao.
Stratasys in collaboration with the design team at Paisley Park in Chanhassen has created a custom set of 3D printed display pieces to showcase Prince’s expansive shoe collection in a new Paisley Park exhibit, ‘The Beautiful Collection: Prince’s Custom Shoes. Paisley Park designers and museum curators worked with Stratasys to bring their designs to life by pushing the limits of what’s possible with 3D printing. The ‘Beautiful Collection’ highlights approximately 300 pairs of shoes worn by Prince throughout his career. The Paisley Park team has thoughtfully displayed the shoes in a way that highlights Prince’s impact on fashion, performance, and popular culture.
Steven Gonzalez and Alain Harrus have joined the Advisory Board of Roboze. Steven Gonzalez is one of the major experts in the space industry worldwide with more than 32 years of experience at NASA. Alain Harrus is an expert in industrial manufacturing processes, with a background in Physics and over 20 years of venture capital experience in Silicon Valley.

SprintRay Inc., a global MedTech pioneer and industry leader in digital dentistry and 3D printing solutions, signed a five-year partnership with eight-time Olympic gold medalist, Usain Bolt. Bolt and SprintRay are also collaborating with the Jamaican Dental Association to invest in the launch of “Bolt Labs, powered by SprintRay” – an initiative with a mission to make world-class digital dental care accessible to Jamaica.

Thus, during the meeting on additive manufacturing held on October 1 at the Triditive facilities in Asturias, the new Amcell 8300 and Amcell 1400 industrial 3D printers were presented.
Accumold, a leading micro-molding company, has taken delivery of a Fabrica 2.0 micro 3D printer from Fabrica Group. The technology was previously known as the Tera 250 and was created by Nanofabrica which has now been acquired by Nano Dimension.
